Hey Brothaz and sons, Have you heard of the real story called the "Hoosiers"?!

The Protagonist of the story is Norman Dale played by Gene Hackman, and Jimmy Chitwood was played by Maris Valainis.

The Head Coach Norman Dale was forcing the players to how to teach them what the team is going to be in the future.

My Mom's Dad "Joe Jessup" was born in September 22, 1927 in England only one year younger than Marvin Wood. 

Back in the 1950's things looked a little different. The players wore different jerseys like yellow and red velvet, and they wore converse hightops. The cars looked older and so the scoreboard in the gym. But the rules for basketball were the same.

Some pretty crazy things happen in this movie: there is a riot in the gym, everybody smokes in buildings and Dennis Cooper, the supporting actor gets drunk. He even had a shotgun in his basement.


In the end the Milan Highschool team makes it all the way to the state finals. The underdog team wins!!!!!
